What’s missing from your Monday nights? Heroes in a half shell? I thought so.
Alamo Drafthouse Ritz is coming to your rescue. On Monday, November 30th, the Drafthouse Ritz will be showing the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The best part (other than April’s yellow jumpsuit, of course) is the all-you-can-eat pizza. Tickets are $16 and you can buy them here. Turtle Power!

Take me down to the paradise city where the grass is green and the girls are…in a Guns N’ Roses tribute band. That’s right. Paradise Titty, Austin’s own all female GNR cover band, will be playing their debut show tonight at the Creekside Lounge. They go on at about 11 and will be sharing the bill with Persian Wars and Follow That Bird. Be there or be lame.

I’m going to check out Danny Malone at the Music Cafe on S. Lamar on
Wednesday. Who’s with me? I’ve been wanting to go see him ever since I heard “My Affection” several months ago. He’s local indie/folk/pop, but unique sounding. Something about him reminds me of a dude version of Kathleen Edwards. I just picked up his new record, Cuddlebug, yesterday and I can already tell it’s going to be in my cd player for a long time.
The Do512.com happy hour show starts at 6:30. Alex Dupree and Legs Against Arms will also be playing. Drink and food specials, apparently.
